Academic Skills - Skills for School Success

Subjects Offered

Our Academic Skills Program offers instruction in reading, writing, study skills, math, phonics, spelling, vocabulary, and related areas. We work with students in grade K through 12, as well as college and adult students.

Who We Can Help

Remedial Focus on improvement of K-12 basic skills and may be able to help a student transition out of remedial classes into mainstream classes
Enrichment Focus on curriculum at or above the student's current grade in school in order to provide a challenge beyond what occurs during the school day
Summer School Many of our centers have earned accreditation status, which means students can attend the center to earn credit for summer courses
Study Skills Program devoted to improving organizational skills, including note-taking, time management, and test-taking strategies
Kindergarten
Focus on getting your child ready to enter 1st grade, with a focus on letters, sounds, numbers, and following directions
College/Adult

Work with college-level and adult learners on basic skills, writing and study skills, or general coursework to get ahead in college or career
